Anxiety
Anxiety can manifest, physically and emotionally, in many ways. For example, as worry, fear, nervousness, irritability. Having anxiety sometimes helps us succeed due to our attentiveness or alertness. However, anxiety can become a barrier to success and wellbeing, and instead of focusing the “right” amount, we focus too little or too much. We can feel like we are spiraling and something else is driving our life bus.
-
Depression
People experience depression differently. Sometimes it shows as sadness, lack of motivation to start or finish something, isolation or feeling that no one feels like we do. Or feeling that we have lost something, but what? Feeling stuck or helpless that we will not find that which we have lost. And this might lead to sleepless nights and days that seem unproductive.
-
Trauma
Traumatic experiences can affect the way we process and view the world. Trauma can also lead to changes in mood, behavior, and interpersonal relationships.
Sometimes we will never find the reason why something happened in our lives. But we can find the path(s) to ultimately forgiving life and others for the experiences we went through.
